Who are you?

You are a professional who strives to improve the mining execution process. You have experience in a mining production environment which is coupled with a fundamental understanding of process, workflow and information management technology to increase efficiencies, improve decision making, and ensure accountability.

You are a strong communicator and are comfortable hosting discussions, meetings, and presenting to groups of stakeholders.

You are looking to apply your experience in these areas to deliver remarkable decision support solutions across the broader mining industry.

You should be comfortable with some domestic and international travel when required.

What We Need

We require a Mining Business Analyst to join our team in Sudbury, Ontario. You will use your considerable understanding of the mining execution model to ensure our current and future clients achieve maximum benefit from our product and services.

You will work with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities to add value and mitigate business risks with our products and services. You will ensure the clear setting of expectations, gather business and technical requirements and identify opportunities to improve workflow as it relates to the implementation of our products.

You will work with our implementation teams and customers ensuring that goals and requirements are well understood, customers’ expectations are met, and all the supporting elements required to sustain new business processes (documentation, training, etc.) have been delivered.

You will use your industry knowledge to assist our business development team in the development and presentation of case studies, and may assist in product presentations, industry events and trade shows.

What your qualifications are:

To ensure we have established a model to drive your and our success, we have the following requirements for the candidate:

  • A minimum 5 years of experience in mining operations with a broad understanding of the full production management processes (planning, grade control, production, reconciliation, etc.).
  • Knowledge of information management systems and data management concepts and the value and opportunity they deliver to the broader business.
  • Experience in evaluating business process and developing technical and business requirements.
  • An understanding of project management principals.
  • Demonstrable experience in solutions delivery, preferably with information management systems.
  • Post-secondary education in mining, metallurgy, geology or similar discipline.
