As we begin a new year – and in some ways a new chapter at Centric Mining Systems – it is worth reflecting on the changes, challenges, and successes of 2020 that have brought us here.

In the past ten months, we have worked differently but successfully. The COVID-19 pandemic brought changes in the way customers use our products and changes in the ways we build them.

I am exceedingly proud of our agility in managing health and safety at our offices, ensuring business continuity to serve customers, and accelerating our plans to move into the growing market for cloud solutions to bolster our business.

Through it all, we continue to make, sell, and deliver comprehensive mine information management solutions to leading mining operations, and I especially thank colleagues who have been on location throughout this time to make sure we meet customers’ high expectations and uphold our reputation for quality service.

As we look forward, we still have a long road and a bright future with the adoption of cloud applications, and as we continue to upgrade and enhance the Centric Mine Information Management Platform, which performed very well in 2020.

Work is well underway on several new and dynamic projects which has allowed our team to push the boundaries of innovation and transformation. Both inside and outside the company, I am sensing excitement about these new ventures and how they will position us for success in 2021 and beyond.

As our team continues to grow, we have been working towards creating a talented, diverse, and inclusive workforce, hiring experts from all over the world.

We realize that a culture of inclusion enhances each of our values. Our agility improves when we have a wider set of skills. Our caring deepens when we have a broader understanding of the world. Our innovation quickens when different ideas meet.

As a growing organization, our goal is not to accomplish more but focus on the things that matter. This will require us to prioritize work and hold ourselves and each other accountable for performance. The work we have undertaken in the past year has put our company on a path towards success, with the same values that have helped us prosper for the last 23 years.
